Choose a location for your connection
Same plan, different network experience.
SSH transfers, screen sharing and large file syncs all have different network requirements. Choose a location close to your team and the services you depend on, then test the connection from your own network. Distance between cities alone isn’t enough to judge performance.
We haven’t published city latency results with test dates and raw records yet, so the table below doesn’t include estimated ping times. “Not tested” doesn’t mean a location can’t be ordered or that the connection timed out.
Test methodology: 64-byte ICMP packets, 100 consecutive probes, median reported. Tests are run during evening peak hours, with the origin’s time zone, local test window and exact test date recorded. No test dates are currently available for publication, so reference ranges are not presented as measured results.
Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taipei, Bangkok, Sydney and Los Angeles are test origins, not available machine locations. ICMP latency is not the same as build time, download speed or screen-sharing frame rate. Results may vary with your ISP and network connection.
